Jaume Ametller is an Assistant Professor of Science Education and head of the Departament of Specific Didactics at the University of Girona where he teaches in graduate and post-graduate teacher training programmes for early years, primary and secondary education. His research focuses on the design and evaluation of teaching and learning sequences and on how language, particularly dialogue, shapes learning – and teaching – in classrooms with and without digital technology. 

Since May 2019 he is the coordinator of the MIF programme, a catalan government sponsored iniciative for the improvement and innovation of teacher education. https://mif.cat/
